Brumadinho
A barragem I da mina Córrego do Feijão da Vale SA, em Brumadinho (MG), rompeu em Janeiro de 2019, configurando o pior crime socioambiental do Brasil. Córrego do Feijão, distrito de Brumadinho, foi arrasado pelo mar de lama tóxica da Vale. 270 corpos foram resgatados e 5 pessoas ainda estão desaparecidas, presumidamente mortas.
Brumadinho dam collapsed in early 2019 and it's the worst ever socioambiental crime in Brazil. Brumadinho municipality and Córrego do Feijão district were devastated by the lava-like sea of mud that came from Vale SA iron-ore mine. 270 bodies were rescued and 5 people were missing and presumed dead.
